Dream Con 2026 Sports Preview: What to Expect

Dream Con is elevating its competitive spirit this year by hosting an exciting sports lineup that fosters connection between creators, fans, and the community, leading to unforgettable moments and contributions to charity. From high-energy showdowns on the court and field to community-driven team competitions, here’s everything you need to know about Dream Con’s sports events for 2026.
The Dream Con Charity Basketball Game returns to the Fertitta Center on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 7:00 PM CST. Fans can expect an electric atmosphere as some of their favorite creators hit the court for charity.
Mark Phillips and YourRAGE will be coaching this year, and Duke Dennis and PlaqueBoyMax will be captains. Expect a massive weekend event with an energized crowd, and all funds raised will support charitable causes.
Tickets are officially on sale for everyone. Entry to this event is not included with a Dream Con badge; you must buy a separate ticket. Please note that the Fertitta Center requires attendees to use clear bags.
Dodgeball returns to Dream Con for Saturday only, bringing back the chaos, competition, and crowd-favorite moments fans have come to love.
You can participate in freeplay at set times each day. There are no applications needed; spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Teams at Dream Con will have the opportunity to compete in organized dodgeball matches for prizes and the ultimate bragging rights. The deadline for team applications is May 31st.
Dream Con will not accept individual sign-ups, nor will it create teams for participants.

Dream Con’s sports lineup now includes pickleball, which will be featured on Sunday exclusively. This rapidly expanding sport promises to inject thrilling dynamism into the weekend, no matter if you’re gathering with friends or striving for the championship.
Available at set times, freeplay courts will be offered to users on a first-come, first-served basis. No application is required.
Competitive 2 v 2 pickleball matchups will also be hosted throughout the weekend, giving teams the opportunity to compete for prizes and bragging rights. Applications close on May 31st.
As with dodgeball, individual sign-ups will not be accepted, and Dream Con will not organize teams for participants.

All organized sports participants should review the following information before applying:
All organized team participants must be 18 years of age or older. Physical identification will be required onsite prior to participation.
All participants must sign a waiver before competing. Dream Con will not be liable for injuries sustained during participation, and anyone who declines to sign the waiver will not be permitted to compete.
