Dream Con Deepens Its Partnerships with HBCUs in 2025 and Beyond

This year, Dream Con has leveled up our commitment to community and collaboration by forging deeper partnerships. As a convention built on the foundation of celebrating Black excellence, we recognize that HBCUs incubate Black talent, creativity, and leadership.

A Slam Dunk at Fertitta Center

In the lead up to Dream Con 2025, we hit the court at the University of Houston’s Fertitta Center for our first-ever Charity Basketball Game, where Texas Southern University’s marching band, “Ocean of Soul”, will be performing. The energy is sure to be electric as Team Duke and Team Mark face off head-to-head.

The HBCU Meetup at Dream Con

We're keeping the momentum going during the con with our first official HBCU meetup. The meetup will be a space for current students and alumni to network and celebrate. Whether you’re repping your schools with pride or coming to learn more about how HBCUs are shaping the culture, the meetup is sure to be brimming with energy.
