Dream Con's gaming tournaments is one factor which makes it well known as an entertainment convention. Year after year, eSports becomes more reputable as a career for those who pursue gaming. As for this year, Dream Con will play co-op with eSports in different variations!

Ultimate Endgamers League

Dream Con partners with UAL to host the Season 9 ENDGAME Finals at George R. Brown Convention Center, May 30 at 12:30pm CST. The Virginia Bots, who were the first team to win a UEL Championship since its inception, will be returning to the finals. The opposing team, North Carolina Reapers, will also make Finals return and hope to secure the win on this exciting venue Dream Con has provided! This will be a great time to be in an environment to learn and network everything eSports.

Ever since Tekken 8’s release, it has hit the fighting community just as hard as Kazuya! For this year's tournament, Perfect Legend and none other than Red Bull’s Pro eSports rep and Tekken Star, Cuddle Core will commentate it. Be sure to witness the unique talent, such as Mark, Leland, Agent 00, Afro Senju and more as they take to the stage to battle it out for glory, skill, and ultimate bragging rights in Dream Con’s All Stars: Tekken 8!

Texas Southern University’s Tigers United Gaming

We’re excited to have Texas Southern University (HBCU)  Esports Team host a panel and fun skating event – Skatercade: Dream Land 2. 

TSU Students from the Executive Board will host a panel on HBCU: Black Gamers Unite on Campus on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 4:00pm - 5:00 pm on Dream Con’s Gaming Stage. 

From dorm rooms to Dream Con, Tigers United Gaming is changing the game for Black gamers at HBCUs and beyond. Join us as we unpack the journey of building a bold brand, creating a community, and leveling up through every win and challenge. Expect real talk, memorable moments, and a celebration of what makes us united.
