From Social to Series: Tubi Joins Dream Con 2026 for a Weekend Built for Creators

This year, Dream Con is teaming up with Tubi, the free streaming service, to celebrate creators: an exclusive Creator Social and a panel conversation on what it really takes to build a series for streaming.
Kicking things off on Friday, Tubi is hosting a Creator Social exclusively for members of Dream Con's Creator Program and creator badge holders, a group of more than 300 attendees. It's a space built for creators to connect and celebrate the community that's shaping the future of streaming, ahead of a weekend packed with programming.
The energy from Friday's Creator Social sets the stage for a deeper conversation on Saturday about the next generation of storytelling. The panel, "From Social Media to Streaming: Creators Take the Leap," digs into what it actually takes for creators to expand from social media to producing full series for streaming audiences.
Moderator Kendale King, Dream Con's Head of Partnerships, and Kudzi Chikumbu, Tubi's Vice President of Creator Partnerships, will sit down with comedians, actors, and writers Bigg Jah and Kevin "KevOnStage" Fredericks. Both creators have built massive audiences online and are now building original series on Tubi. The conversation will cover how they grew their audiences, the shift from short-form to long-form storytelling, and how Tubi is building a bridge to Hollywood that lets creators scale on streaming without giving up the authenticity and creativity that got them there.
Whether you're a creator plotting your next move, or just someone who wants to hear directly from the people making it happen, this is a can't-miss part of the weekend!
