Every year, Dream Con brings together the best of gaming, anime, music, and pop culture for an unforgettable weekend. While we’re always excited to introduce new experiences to the lineup, there’s something special about the events that Dreamers come back for year after year.

We’re excited to announce that many of your favorite programs and events are returning for 2026. Here’s a look at some of the can’t-miss events returning:

Premier Programming

• Bae Brigade - Bring your vocals and energy, and get ready to turn up at the Bae Brigade Battle! Join @storymodebae and some of your favorite creators as they battle each round, playing iconic music tracks. Your vote determines who wins, so don’t miss out.
• Gatekeep - Gatekeep returns for another round, challenging contestants to put their knowledge to the test while the audience picks their favorite team, cheers them on, and debates their answers. It’s family game night on a bigger scale.
• Dream Con Comedy Show - Bigg Jah is bringing his work to the Dream Con stage with “Big Jah Presents: The Whole Crew is Stupid,” alongside an incredible lineup of comedians, including Barry Brewer, Kenn Edwin, Kraig Smith, Tacarra Williams, and Malik Bazille.
• Dream Con Film Fest - The film fest is making its way back to the big screen to spotlight talented storytellers and filmmakers from across the community. Grab some popcorn and settle in to watch a collection of independent films created by fellow Dreamers.
• Otaku Cabaret - Otaku Cabaret continues to blend anime, performance, music, dance, and creativity into one great showcase. Every year brings new talent, new performances, and new moments that leave the crowd talking long after the curtain closes.

Gaming Tournaments

Gaming remains at the heart of Dream Con, and 2026 is bringing back some of our most exciting tournaments.

• All-Star Creator Tournament: Marvel Rivals - Watch your fav creators compete in Marvel Rivals as they battle for bragging rights.
• Community Gaming Tournaments - Get in on the action yourself! Community tournaments give Dreamers the chance to compete, brag, and showcase their skills across a bunch of titles all weekend.

Sporting Events

The competition isn’t limited to gaming. Our sports lineup is back with fan-favorite events that bring Dreamers and creators to the court.

• All-Star Dodgeball Game - The All-Star Dodgeball game is back with new captains, new teams, and the same energy.
• Community Dodgeball Game - Ready to get in on the action? The Community Dodgeball game gives you a chance to step onto the court and join the fun.
• Charity Basketball Game - So nice, we had to do it twice! The Dream Con Charity Basketball game is back at the University of Houston’s Fertitta Center. Join us as your favorite creators compete for a good cause. Tickets available here.
