Your Last-Minute Dream Con 2026 Checklist

Dream Con 2026 is almost here! Before you visit for an unforgettable weekend of gaming, anime, sports, entertainment, and beyond, we encourage you to run through this quick checklist to make sure you’re prepared.

Secure Your Badge

If you opted for the mail-in option during purchase, your badge will be mailed directly to the shipping address associated with your order. Badges bought before June 10 began shipping on June 22, with all tracking information sent via email. If your badge was lost, stolen, or never arrived, visit the Help Desk in Hall A at the George R. Brown Convention Center during registration hours for assistance.

For those picking up badges on-site, badge pickup will also be available in Hall A of the convention center during the following registration hours:

• Thursday, July 9, from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Early Badge Pickup)
• Friday, July 10, from 10 a.m. - midnight
• Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. - midnight
• Sunday, July 12, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Remember: A valid government-issued photo ID with a name matching the name on your badge order is required for pickup. 

Finalize Your Trip

Before you hit the road or head to the airport, make sure you have your:

• Badge (if mailed)
• Government-issued photo ID
• Portable charger
• Cosplay essentials
• Comfortable shoes
• Necessary medications

Flying in? Make sure you have a compliant REAL ID, check your flight status before departure, and arrive at the airport early. Driving? Plan for extra travel time due to ongoing construction around the convention center, which may impact parking and traffic flow.

Rideshare services, METRORail, and other public transportation options are also available throughout Downtown Houston.

Plan Your Weekend with the Dream Con App

If you haven’t already, download the Dream Con app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app includes a venue map and the full convention schedule where you can build your itinerary. There is also an attendee interaction section where you can connect with fellow Dreamers throughout the weekend. 

Review Important Policies

Please make sure you review Dream Con’s rules and policies. Here are some general things you’ll need to know before you arrive:

• All bags are subject to security screening upon entry. 
• Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless purchased from a Dream Con vendor, though limited personal snacks needed for medical reasons will be allowed. View the full list of prohibited items here.
• If you leave the convention during the day, don’t forget your badge – you’ll need it to re-enter and pass through security.
