James Mathis III
James Mathis III is an actor and voice actor best known as the voice of T’Challa aka Black Panther in the hit multiplayer game Marvel Rivals. Since his debut in Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in 2010, he has voiced the King of Wakanda in theme parks, children’s books, interactive media and animation, most notably in “Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest” (2x NAACP Image Award nominee).
Other VO credits include God of War: Ragnarök, Metal Gear Solid 3, Star Trek Prodigy, Baki, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Lego Marvel Avengers, Baby Shark and more. In addition to his voice work, James has appeared on-camera in commercials, music videos, TV, and feature films, as well as on stage, in print and on the runway. A Brooklyn, NY native James is a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
