RJ Cyler

RJ Cyler first broke out with his critically acclaimed performance as Earl in Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival to a standing ovation and won both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award. He quickly established himself as one of Hollywood’s most compelling young actors, going on to gain global recognition as Billy Cranston, the Blue Ranger, in Lionsgate’s Power Rangers reboot.

He continued to build momentum with standout roles including the gunslinger Jim Beckwourth in Netflix’s The Harder They Fall, alongside Idris Elba and Regina King, as well as leading roles in the theatrical hit Emergency and Issa Rae’s HBO Max comedy series Rap Sh!t. He also appeared in Jeymes Samuel’s The Book of Clarence. RJ can currently be seen on Peacock's hit series The Burbs, and can be next seen starring in One Spoon of Chocolate, a highly anticipated film from RZA and Quentin Tarantino, hitting theaters May 1st.

Additional credits include Showtime’s I’m Dying Up Here (executive produced by Jim Carrey), The CW’s Black Lightning, MTV’s Scream, Netflix’s Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, DC Universe’s Swamp Thing, and the true-crime drama White Boy Rick.
