Dominoes
Cap:
96 Players - split into 4 per table
Duration:
3 Hours
Winners: Top 3
1st Place: Dominoes set and $50
2nd Place: Dominoes set and $20
3rd Place: Dominoes set
Time Limit:
30 minutes per Round
Scoring:
150 pts to win
Rounds:
Round 1: 64 players → 32 Advance
Round 2: 32 players → 16 Advance
Round 3: 16 Players → 4 Advance
Round 4: Grand Finals
Rules & Penalties
- All players will draw a total of 5 Dominoes.
- Highest Double goes first.
- After the spinner is set → the players will play in a clockwise direction.
- First to Domino wins the match.
- Remaining dominoes will be counted to the winner’s total.
- Remaining dominoes score will be rounded up to the nearest “five”
- Backman washes dishes
- In the instance that the board is locked/draw, the “lowest hand” player will win the match and be awarded the bonus points.
- The winner of the previous match will draw first and go first.
- Only the spinner can be played off all four sides. Other doubles are played sideways and you can only play off the sides (not the ends).
- Callouts: Players must call out their points.
- If a player does not call their points, they will not be awarded those points.
- If another player calls their points, that player will be awarded the points.
- If a player incorrectly calls out points, that player will be penalized with the incorrect points (i.e. Sam called 20 but only had 19 - Sam will lose 20 points).
- If a player cannot play, they will knock on the table using a remaining Domino.
- Players cannot knock/pass when a playable domino is available.
- If a playable domino is played after a knock, the player will lose 20 points.
- If a player knocks with a playable domino 3 times within a round or 7 times within the tournament, they will be automatically DQed.
- If a player is unable to play, they must either grab a domino from the boneyard or knock if the boneyard is empty.
- Players will only draw once from the boneyard per turn. If the drawn domino is not playable, then the player will knock to pass their turn.
- Slow Play: Players taking an absorbent amount of time will lose 10 points.
- There is no hard rule but plays should take less than 45 seconds
- If a player is caught “slow playing” 3 times within a round, they will be DQed.
- Misplayed dominoes will remain face up.
- No slapping dominoes on the table.
Uno
Cap:
80 Players - split into 4 per table
Duration:
3 Hours
Winners: Top 4
1st Place:Uno Flip or Uno Attach and $50 gift card
2nd Place: Uno Flip or Uno Attach and $20 gift card
3rd Place: Uno Flip or Uno Attach
4th Place: Uno Deck
Time Limit:
45 minutes per Round
Rounds:
Round 1: 80 players → 40 Advance
Round 2: 40 players → 20 Advance
Round 3: 20 Players → 4 Advance
Round 4: Grand Finals
Rules & Penalties
- All players will draw a total of 7 cards and players will play clockwise.
- Only one card may be played per turn.
- Played cards must be either the same color or same face number.
- If a player cannot play, they must draw one card from the draw pile.
- If the draw pile is empty, a staff member will take the discard/throw pile, stuffle and reset with the last discarded card.
- Uno Cards
- Skip: The next player in turn is skipped.
- Reverse: The direction of play is reversed.
- Draw Two: The next player must draw two cards and skip their turn. No Stacking Allowed.
- Wild: A player can choose any color to play after playing a Wild card.
- Wild Draw Four: The next player must draw four cards and skip their turn, and the player who played the card can name the new color. No stacking allowed.
- "Uno": Players must call "Uno" when they have only one card left.
- Other players may 'call out' a player for not saying "Uno".
- If a player is 'called out' before they say "Uno", they must pick up two cards from the draw pile.
- If no one calls out the player before their next turn, there is no penalty.
