Welcome to Dream Con Gaming! Here fantasy, anime, and gaming unite for an unforgettable adventure! At Dream Con, gaming isn't just an add-on — it's central to the magic. Whether you're a pro gamer, casual enthusiast, or just curious, you'll find endless excitement in the Gaming Hall.
As we build toward the onsite experience, we’re kicking off online tournaments as part of the Road to Dream Con 2026 — and we’re leveling up like never before. This will give gamers a chance to compete throughout the year.

VR Zone
Join VR Villa for their 4th year back at Dream Con. Compete in immersive games like Walkabout Minigolf, Fruit Ninja or sit down with some friends to serve the dozen of enchanted creatures in Cook-Out.
Arcade
Come enjoy over 2,000 square feet of classic and modern arcade cabinets provided by our friends Arcade4Homes. You will find it all from retro classics like Galaga or Donkey Kong to immersive race cabs or rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution.
Laser tag
Welcome Next Level Gaming LLC to Dream Con as they provide us with our very first Laser Tag experience. Have fun with the adrenaline-pumping, immersive combat simulation where players gear up with high-tech laser equipment to outsmart and outmaneuver opponents in dynamic, mission-based scenarios.
BeyBlades
DFW Beyblades is bringing high level competition to DreamCon 2026 with an official Beyblade X tournament featuring the latest generation of Beyblade X products. Players will compete in fast paced, hard hitting battles against other Bladers in an electrifying environment built for strategy, skill, and explosive finishes. Participants may bring their own Beyblade X Beyblades or take advantage of rental options provided by the DFW Beyblades team so everyone has the opportunity to step into the stadium and let it rip.
Domino Royale presented by ShadeTreeSoul
Prepare for the ShadeTreeSoul "Who’s the Master" Domino Championship at DreamCon, where Houston’s fiercest domino minds gather for a showdown like no other! This isn’t just a tournament; it’s an electrifying experience where the atmosphere crackles as the best of the best compete. With over $4,000 in prizes, including a $500 cash award, this is where legends are made. Come for the game, stay for the unforgettable memories, and walk away knowing who truly reigns as Houston’s domino master!

Visit our “Gaming Page” under the “Explore” tab on the Dream Con website to register for tournaments, learn more, and stay up to date. For additional updates about tournament availability, please join our discord server or follow us on social media for announcements.
Please email us at gaming@dreamconvention.com and tell us about your project, organization, or video game project. We review all inquiries on a case by case basis to ensure appropriate cohesion with the Dream Con mission and family friendly audience.

Yes. Please be sure to check with badge registration for Dream Con to ensure your access into Dream Con prior to signing up/ paying gaming tournaments entry fees. If you can confirm your registration, you may enter into the gaming tournaments. Please be sure you perform the additional necessary registration activities for the available gaming tournaments.
Additionally, bring your registration credentials as well as the email that was used for registration with you to confirm your identity at the Dream Con event and gaming tournament. Review the Dream Con FAQ page for more information.

Yes. A standard admission badge of any type is required before entering and will be cross-checked with the GrowTix database to ensure enrollment. For more information about Dream Con badges, please visit the Dream Con FAQ page.
Yes. All tournaments have a separate entry fee that must be paid. Please note the entry fee is non-refundable under every circumstance; even if a competitor is unable to secure an admission badge in a timely manner. Please pursue at your own risk.
Yes. However, you will need to pay a separate entry fee for each tournament you desire to participate in. Please see the additional information associated with each tournament on our Gaming Hall Page.

Dream Con does practice seeding procedures. However, all tournaments vary in structure, design, etc. and may not offer seeding procedures. If this is a concern for you, please be sure to stay updated on the Gaming Hall Page for more details regarding the individual tournaments as the event draws closer.
