A big welcome to all our approved press to Dream Con 2025! Your coverage helps us capture the creativity, community, and energy that make our convention so special—and we want to make sure you’re set up for success. To help you get the most out of your time with us—and ensure a smooth experience for everyone—here’s a quick guide with everything you need to know before you arrive.
- Badge Pick-up: Press badge pick up will be at the Registration area at the Marriott Marquis (Houston Ballroom 1-3), beginning Thursday, May 29th from 1–8 p.m. A valid photo ID is required for badge pick up for each member of your team. You will not be able to claim badges for teammates not present.
- Press Rooms: Please keep in mind that the Press Rooms on-site are shared spaces and therefore not meant for equipment storage. We recommend that you keep any mics, cameras, etc. you bring with you at all times. Each standard Interview Room will already be furnished with lighting equipment, decor, and power strips.
- Interviews: Requests to interview specific Talent must be submitted in advance (by May 15th) if you would like to use any of our dedicated Press Rooms. If one of the rooms is not in use while on-site, and you would like to use the space for an informal interview, please submit a request with our Dream Con Press Department. Please be mindful of the room’s use schedule, which will be posted outside the door for reference. Interviews, scheduled or informal, should take no more than 30 minutes (including set-up/breakdown).
- On-Site Resources: Need a quick recharge or quiet space to work? Visit our Press Workspace! If you need to get in touch with our team for any reason during the weekend, please contact us at our Press Department email or message us in our dedicated Discord chat. We also recommend that you download the Dream Con app to stay abreast of any updates throughout the weekend.
- Code of Conduct: If you’re unable to attend the convention due to unforeseen circumstances, email the Press Department ahead of time. Additionally, note that your press badge does not grant you access to areas such as backstage, on the Main Stage, Industry room, or the guest/green room.
- Post-Con Expectations: Ready to share your content? Any press coverage should be posted within two months after attending Dream Con 2025. Send all coverage links to our Press Department for our review.
If you have questions related to press, photography, or videography that isn’t covered here or in your provided Know Before You Go guide, please contact our Press Department via the Press email.
