george r. brown convention center
The George R. Brown Convention Center opened on the east side of downtown Houston on September 26, 1987. The building was named for internationally recognized entrepreneur, engineer, civic leader, philanthropist George Rufus Brown (1898-1983), who donated six of the 11 blocks necessary to build the GRB. The first convention held in the George R. Brown was the American Society of Travel Agents in October 1987. Construction on the GRB and the surrounding area was completed in December of 2016. Avenida Houston is now downtown's premier destination to sip, stroll and savor all Houston has to offer.

The event hotel rates are subject to state and local taxes, hotel occupation fees, event defraying fees, and state recovery fees. Any questions regarding deposits, charges or reservations must be directed to the respective hotel for assistance. Further information about raffles, giveaways or otherwise noted activities will be updated by Dream Convention, but outreach regarding fulfillment will be directed to the winner(s).
Deposits are applied to the overall amount due. Upon check-in, hotels will ask for a credit/debit card to have on file for the room for incidentals. Each hotel may have a different amount required so be sure to check with your respective hotel for more information.
