Registration

The Registration Department oversees the check in process for all attendees and event staff for Dream Con. Registration manages the streamlining of the check in process from the very first security checkpoint to the end of the badge hand off process. The Registration Department consists of the following teams: Attendee Registration, Information Desk, and Ticketed Events.  

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage the check-in process and layout
  • Ensure all attendees have valid identification and completed necessary requirements to attend Dream Con
  • Monitor ticket sales on Growtix website
  • Coordinate and communicate with the Security team to manage check in lines
  • Work with Main Programming to create a RSVP process for “Ticketed Events” and Main Stage Events  
  • Coordinate with all 3rd party Programming vendors to manage “Ticketed Event” sales
  • Monitor and secure the badge pickup area at all times
  • Order registration materials including but not limited to badges, lanyards, and supplies
  • Assist with resolving any registration discrepancies
  • Answer attendee inquiries online and onsite during the convention

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate the ability in providing quality customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
  • Demonstrate organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environments
  • Relevant experience in hospitality, customer service, and event registration
  • Ability to learn event management software
  • 2 years of event registration experience (Preferred not required)
