Merchandising & Digital Retail
The Merchandising & Digital Retail Department is responsible for all Dream Con merchandise and products both online and in-person. This department manages the merchandise inventory, keeps up with market trends, and communicates with suppliers and distributors to make sure Dream Con has the best products for our shoppers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the merchandise website and orders
- Fulfill all online merchandise orders
- Manage Dream Con merchandise and inventory onsite
- Ensure all merchandise is stocked with the right products and quantities
- Answer all customer and attendee inquiries online and onsite during the convention
- Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
- Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales
